Milk Draft Plan

For my next draft I will make a stop motion photography film of a very simple idiom that would be easy and short to portray. I think I'll do 'To cry over spilled milk' but with no deeper meaning than face value. This will give me the experience I need to ensure that my final product is professional and to make sure I know what I'm doing. This film will simply include a glass of milk being spilled, with a character then crying. I think this is a better idea than having a draft with no relevance to my final piece as I previously suggested because it will be more beneficial to me, as I will be able to see the exact process I'll be doing for my final piece.
I plan to do around 4 drafts using different methods of animation to be able to compare the outcomes for research and future reference. In essence I will be creating several films, but all bar one will be only a couple of seconds long. I'm also creating these test films so that I am aware of roughly how many photographs I will need to take and develop, and how long the process may take.

Following is the story board of my draft. Instead of just having the film include a person crying over a spilled glass of milk, I decided to add more detail. This storyboard portrays a character working, then reaching for the glass of milk which keeps moving out of their grasp. The milk then begins to deplete so the character drinks it from a straw that appears. The glass then tips, making the character cry, resulting in them crying over spilled milk.

I want my draft to have some form of storyline just so I can get a better grasp on how my final piece will play out. I doubt I will do the second part of my project, where I develop the photos and photograph them again, as I feel it unnecessary as the main animation is the only things I have concerns about. As this is the storyboard for the draft I did it very basic with just enough information to follow. However when I create my main storyboard and film I will be making it very professional and detailed with more effort involved in making it as informative as possible.
